Texas Instruments honors time:matters with the Supplier Excellence Award and recognizes the company’s extraordinary performance
Neu-Isenburg, April 6th 2010 – time:matters, the expert for Special Speed Solutions of Lufthansa Cargo group has been presented with the Texas Instruments (TI) 2009 Supplier Excellence Award.
Texas Instruments thereby recognizes the outstanding performance of time:matters in the SamedayLogistics sector.
The award, given annually, honors companies whose dedication and commitment in supplying products and services meet TI’s high standards for excellence. Recipients are an elite group of
suppliers chosen for their exemplary performance in the areas of cost, environmental responsibility, technology, responsiveness, assurance of supply and quality. The Neu-Isenburg-based Special
Service Provider receives the prestigious award together with 16 other TI suppliers.
Due to its international multimodal transport network – consisting of air, road, and rail – time:matters has access to a wide range of transport options, which are combined according to the individual needs of the customer. “time:matters is extremely reliable and flexible, delivering time-critical shipments on a sameday basis when required,” said Rob Simpson, Vice President of Worldwide Procurement and Logistics at TI. “By leveraging all modes of transportation and determining the fastest delivery routes, time:matters not only provides the dependable services, but also demonstrates responsible environmental behavior.”
A presentation to time:matters personnel was made by a management team from TI . “The TI Supplier Excellence Award is a public recognition of the dedicated efforts time:matters has made in
performance improvement over the past years”, said Franz-Joseph Miller, CEO of time:matters.
