Amsterdam, 21 March 2016: time:matters, the expert for global Special Speed Logistics, has further strengthened its commitment to high quality standards by achieving ISO 9001:2015 certification.

The team has now been successfully certified under version 9001:2015, which only came into effect in September 2015. This makes it one of the first companies in the Netherlands to achieve this. The certification was granted by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance in Belgium. time:matters Netherlands had already been certified under the ISO 9001:2008 quality standard since 2011. There is now a greater focus on risk management in the 2015 version, with a link being forged between flexibility and quality assurance. The philosophy of risk avoidance as described in the standard is covered by the company’s own credo. “Customers expect one hundred per cent quality, but they also value the proactive shipment monitoring provided by time:matters along the entire transport chain. If something unforeseen happens, corrective actions can then be taken quickly to minimise the impact on the customer”, explained FranzJoseph Miller, Managing Director of time:matters.

Besides continual improvement management, the consistent alignment of all processes with customer needs is also at the heart of this international quality management standard. “For our customers, we are the problem-solvers for their time-critical shipments”, said Marcel Andriessen, Country Manager of the Netherlands. He continued: “It all comes down to maximum quality and reliability. Quality and customer focus are our DNA. The certification will help us to put this into daily practice as well in a structured and sustainable manner and continuously improve what we are doing in the best interests of our customers.”
