Neu-Isenburg, 21 February 2017: time:matters, the expert in worldwide Special Speed Logistics and time-critical international spare parts logistics, came up with a new transport concept for CNH Industrial, one of the world’s largest producers of agricultural equipment, thereby earning itself the Top Logistics Provider title in the Spare Parts category. The award was presented during the annual supplier meeting in Turin in December 2016.
The highly efficient Spare Parts Logistics service offered by time:matters supports CNH Industrial’s distribution centre solution at a distance of up to 3,000 km – usually with a delivery before 8:00 a.m. – ensuring reliable machine uptime during the harvest season in particular. By applying the transport concept, almost 100% performance is achieved with shipments.
CNH Industrial has been using the time:matters Spare Parts Logistics service for its agricultural machinery business from Heidelberg to Sweden and Finland since April 2016 already. This combines a reliable in-night network with personalised solutions tailored to individual companies. The new transport concept, including weekend service, developed by time:matters for CNH Industrial has shortened delivery times by two days.
During the harvest season in particular, farmers were receiving crucial spare parts two days earlier than before and avoiding long downtimes as a result. This allowed CNH Industrial to gain a clear lead in service on the market. Since January, Norway is now also served by time:matters on behalf of CNH Industrial. Further expansion of the cooperation to other countries is planned.
