How an onboard courier prevented a radar failure

A commotion  at a Greek shipping company: on a ship in Montreal the radar is about to fail – an important spare part is needed.
A technician from the supplier immediately heads to Frankfurt/Main Airport. There he hands the spare part over to the time:matters onboard courier at 15.55. At 17.00, the plane to Montreal is airborne. In Montreal, customs clearance is completed in less than  one hour. At 00.30, the onboard courier hands the spare part over to the ship’s technician – enough time remains for the part to be installed and the ship can set sail according to plan.
