Make time:matters your homepage
Effective January 1, 2008 time:matters took over the Dutch express logistics provider JNE, marking another important step of its internationalization strategy. The company, which now operates under the name “time:matters Netherlands,” has already been a successful player on the Dutch market for 15 years. As a result of the acquisition the founder and former owner of JNE, Ben Hofs, was appointed managing director of the new Dutch time:matters subsidiary. He is assisted by the co-managing director, Dr Arne Schulke, the Chief Financial Officer of the German time:matters Holding. All the employees of JNE have been taken over by the new company.
As a result of the takeover, JNE customers are provided with direct access to the time:matters network which significantly expands the existing services and geographical focal points of JNE. In return, time:matters shipments can for example be transported on KLM flights, as well as other additional airlines. Furthermore there is an increased level of competence in the OBC (On Board Courier) area. In addition, the handling and delivery of shipments is now significantly faster, since each step is directly carried out and monitored by time:matters employees.
